In 2025, I decided to follow my dream of putting a familiar face on holistic self-care. I decided to live my worldview by leaving my 25+ year career and opening Octavia’s Natural Experience.
O.N.E.’s mission is to promote natural hair care and self-maintenance to stimulate your body’s natural vitality. Through my years of learning and world travels I have sharpened my understanding of what it takes to live a healthy, active and holistic life. I believe you can embrace your hair’s natural texture and achieve healthy hair that will help you feel confident and professional. I believe that you can prevent and/or mitigate chronic and acute pain with self-care and self-maintenance practices.
In 2001, I discovered a passion for yoga following a C-section delivery of my twins. To recover from my post-surgery muscle limitations, I decided to take the first in a lifetime of hot yoga class and I was hooked! In 2016, I enrolled in the 105F Teacher Training. Today, I share my passion for yoga with the goal of helping individuals begin and explore self-maintenance practices rooted in yoga philosophies. My journey is a testament that incremental change compounds into a personal revolution that enriches your life and the lives of those around you.
